Day 1 was a success, we arrived at stanstead to catch our flight at 6:30am. After landing in Billund we went shopping for gas. We then went to the Lego House to learn about the history of Lego & what it has done for the local area. The Lego group has a strong relationship with the town of Billund which dates back to the founder of Lego Ole Kirk kristian whose original workshop stood on the site of the new Lego factory and design offices. We left our mark on the Lego house in the form of a giant fleur de lis which we built in the creative area paired with some Danish and England flags. We then made our way to our hotel for the night. We arrived in time to watch the England game or as the Danes say ” the Danish game ” with the lovely hotel staff and other guests. Though we drew they were very sporting and we had a good laugh about it. We had a trip to the rema 1000 to get our evening meal. We made some carbonara out of a packet and added mini hot dog sausages to add that extra pazzaz. We called it a night pretty early since we had all been up at stupid in the morning.

Brill have a grate time.
