We spent most of day 10 in Copenhagen.
Starting off at the royal palaces in Amalienborg learing about the royal family who lived there and also about the new king of Denmark, Frederick X.
We then wandered over to the Danish Resistance museum to do some fact finding for our objective. We then finished off the geocaching objective by completing the adventure lab around the old fort. We then went to the little mermaid statue before heading back into central Copenhagen to do our ‘Will it woggle?’ challenge. We gave ourselves 10 minutes to find one other person in the team (chosen at random by a random name generator) an item of no more than £15 to use as a woggle. We ended up with a bottle opener for Dan, chosen by Tom, an I ❤️ Copenhagen keyring for Reece, chosen by Alfie, a schnapps glass for Tom, chosen by Reece and a set of handled I ♥️ Copenhagen salt and pepper shakers for Alfie, chosen by Dan.
We then did a bit of shopping for our family and significant others, and headed to the covered market to find some lovely fresh fruit to include in our pancake breakfast the next day.
After the market we went up the Rundetaarn (round tower) for some spectacular views of Copenhagen.
For dinner we decided to eat out at a local Italian restaurant, the food was good, but service was slow due to Denmark playing Germany and there being a big screen in the square outside and the amount of takeaway orders that were coming in.
We then headed back to site ready to face Copenhagen again in the morning.
